On the PerfectMail Web-UI, navigate to "Filters > Sender" to see the various Sender Filter Tables. The tables are:

• Accept All Content
• Accept All Content & Attachments
• Reject All
• Discard All
• Discard on Reject
• No Server Checks

An e-mail address can be broken into various parts to be filtered in a more specific or less specific way. More specific/complete addresses take precedence over less complete/specific. So you can play the various tables against each other to achieve specific results, as needed.

A common tactic is to use versions of an address in "Accept All Content" and "Reject All" to either block or allow all addresses, accept for specific exceptions.

For example, given the email address "someuser@sales.somedomain.com", the precedence order would be:

• someuser@sales.somedomain.com (Highest precedence)
• sales.somedomain.com
• somedomain.com
• someuser@ (Least precedence)

So, you could allow all email from "somedomain.com" (Accept All Content), but not from "sales.somedomain.com" (Reject All), except for "someuser@sales.somedomain.com" (Accept All Content).

Address Precedence allows you to customize filtering for complex relationships with your e-mail peers.
